Munansi Food & Fruit Forests
Planting indigenous fruit trees with schools and communities to restore degraded land, improve food security, enhance biodiversity, and create income opportunities using agroforestry and permaculture.

Establishing green clubs and school gardens to educate students and teachers on biodiversity, climate change, and nature-based solutions using participatory learning approaches.

Building the future of green innovation
Munansi Green Energy
This project aims to provide clean and affordable energy to rural communities through briquettes, biogas and solar systems, using organic waste and agricultural residues as feedstock. The project is expected to start in 2024 and benefit over 1,000 households. We also educate and train communities on the benefits and use of alternative and renewable energy sources.

Munansi Green Tourism
This project aims to develop and promote ecotourism and cultural tourism in Mubende and surrounding areas, using nature-based solutions as attractions and amenities. The project is expected to start in 2025 and generate over 200 jobs.

Munansi Green Innovation Hub
This project aims to support and incubate young entrepreneurs and innovators who have ideas and solutions for nature-based solutions. The project is expected to start in 2026 and support over 100 start-ups. We foster innovations and creativity in developing and implementing nature-based solutions, using local and indigenous knowledge, as well as modern technologies.
